Bore ‘ma bu 30 o fyfyrwyr drama ac astudiaethau theatr Prifysgol Aberystwyth yn dysgu am beth sydd gan AGOR DRYSAU – OPENING DOORS i’w gynnig iddyn nhw. Roedd y myfywryr yn falch iawn o glywed bod cynnifer o berfformiadau o dramor yn cael eu cynnal yma yn eu tref nhw ac roedden nhw’n gyffrous iawn i glywed am rhai o’r digwyddiadau fydd yn digwydd yn rhaglen ‘Fringe’ yr Wyl fydd yn cael ei ddatgelu YMA wythnos nesaf!
Roedd y myfyrwyr oll yn gytun bod yr Wyl yn cynnig cyfleoedd iddynt hyrwyddo’i gwaith ac yn cynnig cyfle iddynt wneud cysylltiadau a fydd o ddefnydd mawr iddynt wrth iddynt fynd ati i chwilio am eu swyddi cyntaf yn ystod yr haf!’
30 students from Aberystwyth University popped into Canolfan Arad Goch earlier on today to learn a little bit more about this year’s AGOR DRYSAU – OPENING DOORS, they were amazed that so many International performances will be happening right here on their door step!
The students were very pleased that the Festival provides them with an excellent opportunity to meet possible employers and network with other studnets and young people in order to develop new ideas and projects, they were all agreed that this is a huge benefit as they’ll all be looking for jobs within the Performing Arts Industry within the next few months.
The students were given an exclusive insight into this year’s ‘Fringe’ programme which will be revealed HERE next week! Exciting!

Several local businesses in Aberystwyth are supporting this years OPENING DOORS Festival and allowing us to display the new Festival logo and brand in their shop windows! Celyn, Rhyds and Hedge have been busy decorating several windows with stickers and posters so next time your walking down the high street look out for their fabulous displays!

Bu Arad Goch yn ymweld a disgyblion Blwyddyn 8 a 9 yn Ysgol Penweddig bore ma er mwyn trafod rhaglen AGOR DRYSAU – OPENING DOORS a sgwrsio am y sioe SAIYAMA AND PAYAPAYA gan Gwmni Ballet Nimba. Roedd y disgyblion yn gyffrous iawn am yr Ŵyl a methu aros i weld y sioe, mae nhw hefyd yn edrych ymlaen i groesawu’r perfformwyr Affricanaidd i Aberystwyth! Mae holl ddisgyblion Ysgol Penweddig yn dod i weld oleiaf un perfformiad yn ystod yr Ŵyl – Gwych o beth!
Arad Goch met up with pupils from year 8 and 9 in Penwedig High School this morning to discuss the AGOR DRYSAU – OPENING DOORS programme and to discuss SAIYAMA AND PAYAPAYA, an African dance and music performance which will be performed in Aberystwyth Arts Centre on the 21st of March. The pupils were very excited about the performance and are excited to meet the African performers and to learn about their unique culture. All pupils from Penweddig will be attending at least one performance during the Festival – Fantastic news!
